Mandatory Recital Dress Rehearsal and Finale Practise  
A reminder that dress rehearsal for recital will take place on Sunday, June 8 from 2:30 - 6:30 pm at the Frank Wills Memorial Hall. A draft show order is available on the bulletin board.

Recital DVDs  
Sign up sheets for the recital DVD will be on the front desk soon. Be sure to place your payment in the drop box upon signing up (cheques payable to Studio MC). The cost will be $38.00 per DVD.  

Ballet Exams                                                            
Ballet students in Pre Int, Pre Adv and Adv classes will partake in mock exams. The schedule is as follows (please arrive 15 minutes early):

            Jr. Ballet: Monday, June 2 – 5:30-6:15 pm
            Int Ballet: Wednesday, June 4 – 7:00-8:30 pm
            Advanced Ballet: Wednesday, June 4 – 8:30-10:00 pm          

GST Refund
In 2008, GST changed from 6 per cent to 5 per cent. Most Studio MC post-dated cheques were made out for 6 per cent GST. The 1 percent is approximately $2.50 on one class of $42.40 (for the six months). If you wish to reclaim this 1 per cent, you can request a cheque during registration dates (see details above).  Many people are feeling it is not necessary to receive a refund of such a small amount so the studio will make a donation on behalf of our students to the Cochrane Activettes Food Bank.

Picture Day
Picture Day will take place the afternoon and evening of Friday, May 30. Order forms will be handed out in class and the schedule will be posted in the lobby.
      

Office Hours                                                                        
Julie McPhail, our Administrative Assistant, is available during our office hours on Wednesdays from 4:30-7:30pm. If you have any questions call or pop by the studio.

Studio MC Receipts
Due to the federal government’s new Children’s Fitness Tax Credit, Studio MC prepared receipts.  Dancers should have received receipts for the 2007 season, in February 2008.  If this was not the case, please call the studio.
